sally lightfoot crab (in the rock.. kinda hard to see but hes in his little cave!^

its still a work in progress but let me know what you guys think so farrrr :D

thanks! yeah im still in the process of gettin more live rock... theres only around 40 ish pounds.. i want to get maybe one more big rock... and the other power head will go on the other side... i cant wait to get my fish back in thereeee!

and ya i have a bad camera lol.. its really old... and has trouble focusing with things in the background lol... thats the best pix i could get so far.. hopefully with a newer camera ill be able to take better pix lol

The camera is fine for what you are doing. I see a lot of motion blur from you taking photos. Go into a Wal-Mart (or BestBuy or whatever else is close) and grab a little $30.00 tripod and you will notice a world of difference. Or you go do a quick test. Pull up a chair (not on rollers) or put it on a table/desk across from the tank and take a few more photos to see how they turn out.

yeah... well i want to get a new one anyways kuz the screens cracked lol... ive had the same one for about 8 years now.. yikesss lol... ive tried the tripod (my dad has one)/chair/table and they still came out the same... id like a new one anyways just for family and friends and stuff... im gonna add one more picture of a green feather duster i have if he ever comes out... usually he comes out at night though for some strange reason

Oh! then new camera time ;)

Depending on the price range you were looking at... PowerShot SD870 IS Price: $244.95 at B&H photo/video.

What fish do you have in QT? How long have they been in there and what treatments are you using?

I like how the tank is viewable from all sides. Very nice. What light is on that?

I bought it for my parents (at a local big box store for $50.00 more) before they went down to the Florida keys. Its a great camera for the price range.

in the qt... there is a coral beauty angel.. which was fine with my feather dusters which is why i was thinking about some easy beginner corals.... i have two small clown fish.. i think theyre only around 2 inches, a purple pseudochromis, and a byno goby that sifts sand... theyre all in different tanks with the acception of the two clown fish.. theyve been together from the beginning (around 2 years ago got them with a 13 gallon tank and caught the saltwater disease that made me want to get a bigger tank! ahhaha) so theyre together in a little 5 gallon, the pseudochromis is in a 5 gallon and the goby and angel fish are in the old 13 gallon. im using rid ich on all the tanks.. theyve been in there for a while.. im going to stop treatment of rid ich too because the sings of ich are gone and it says to only use it like 3 days after signs are gone... ive been changing the water in the big tank about once a week... and the other small tanks about a gallon a day..

the light is a simple flourescent light... its called reef sun by zoo med. its a t8 50/50 and the guy said i might be able to get away with a few corals... which is all i really want to start off with... and i now have some anemonies growing.. i think theyre bubble tip anemonies well thats what the guy at the lfs said.... you can kinda see one of them in the picture of the feather duster... sorry its so blurryyy...

but i just got that bulb and the anemonies just started to grow.. or ive just begun noticing them which is why i think i might be able to get away with a few beginner corals too... any sugestions?

p.s. sorry this post was so long lol
