55 gallon

About how many fish can I stick in my 55 gallon tank. There's a lot of live rock and I plan on having a lot of coral. And can you guys reccomend me some fish that would fit with my current fish.

Fish:
Banded goby
Spotcinctus clownfish
Purple stripe dottyback
Yellow tail damsel
Green Chromis

You're smart for sticking with small fish. ( love yellow tail damsels, they get a bad rap).

In my opinion fish stocking (within reason) is very dependent on how much bioload you are willing to cope with maintenance-wise. More fish = more waste = more water changes, more skimmer emptying, more GFO, more siphoning rocks/sand.

However to answer your question I think 2 or 3 more small fish is definitely okay. If your rock and tank are mature enough a little mandarin is always great. But get a captive bred one if you can. Also firefish and wrasses are great too if you have a cover.
