Well, the water test went great, and after 3 days of water and temp's in the 20's at night, I can now say it's weather tested as well. The tank is being built outside (I live in AZ) and the temp dropped into the 20's the other night. The tank had a layer of ice on it and when that was taken out the rest was kinda slushy. Anyway, the tank is empty and cleaned out and work can begin again on the overflow teeth. We were cutting the piece down to size and we had a little problem, it shot out the back of the radial arm saw and broke, so we made another one.
We were about 3/4 of the way done when this happened:
The router bit broke, so off to Ace Hardware I went. The new carbide tiped bit is in the router. Amazing what a difference a sharp bit can do.
The piece was finished, cut to size and painted:
Things are a little slow going now, but we're getting there.
