I'm intrested in getting some new pumps. I have a 36'' 58 gal reef. I have 1 seio 620 it doesnt seem to be that strong and a MJ 1200. I'm intrested in a Turbelle nano stream . What one 6025,6045 will give me plenty of flow but not over powering. The Turbelle nano stream 6055 would Probably be the best but it is out of my price range $$
I have mostly soft corals. But I just got a new light 4 39 watt T5 sun light supply. And want to try sps corals. I just got a 2'' frag of birds nest. can't wait to see it start to grow. I want more sps's in time they will come.

my tank size is 36''L 24''H 15''D and I also made a 20 Gal refugium. That is above my main tank with a 24 watt T5 ligh that a local hydroponicss shop. Everything is growing very well up there
Thx. Wild Bill <@(()))><~~~~~~~~~

hey thats about the same size as my tank except its 21 h and 18 dep from oceanic. I'm going with a 6025 because my return pump is a pan world 50px-x so I don't need that more more flow

I've got a 58 gallon with 2 6025s pointed at each other from opposite corners. It seems to be too much. The softies I have don't like it and I get sandstorms. I can never run both at the same time. I might downgrade my return pump to reduce the overall flow so I can run both Tunzes. Of course, one of them just quit after six months, but I've heard great things about Tunze standing behind their products. I hope so....

wdbill, I've got almost the same setup, a 65g (36w, 18d, 24h) currently with a seio 620 and mj1200. I just received a 6045 to replace the mj. I'll get it in the tank today and let you know. I've got a mix of softies, zoas, LPS, and monti caps & digis as my only SPS, I'm also running T5 lights.

I have a 58 at home and I am running 2 6045, if anything I would like more flow but it is a simple tank for a ritteri and some soft corals.

I have a 58g with 2 6045 on both back corners pointing to the center. I noticed that I needed more flow for the sps, so I added a 6025 placed on the right side pointing towards the other end.

I just got my 6045 installed in my 65g. It is so much better than the MJ1200 that it replaced and looks alot better too, especially if you have a black background, blends in much more. No sandstorms here. I'm sure I could create one if I positioned it down.

I will probably replace my Seio 620 with another 6045 or even a 6055 when they are more readily available.

My Oceanic 37(chop a foot of your 58)kinda cube has a 6055 and a 6025. The 3155 puts out another 200gph. It is a lot of flow, but I am planning an SPS environment.

i have a 15g with a 6045 and not enough flow for me, my zoa's love it as does my candy cane frag, going to be swapping out the 6045 with a 6055 when mine comes in and put it on a controller. my tank is bb so not worried about sandstorms

I have the same tank, an oceanic 58gal. I have 2 6045, and a 6060. I'm running barebottom, so sand storms aren't an issue, and I keep any soft corals low enough to not get too bothered.
