Hello all, ok this might seem weird to some of you but I am going to be selling my brand new Oceanic 58 gallon drilled RR tank, It comes with the overflow kit and a 20 long used sump made from glass. OK I havent completed the stand and canopy yet but plan to very soon, The stand and canopy are going to mimic my 180 stand and canopy that I have already built ( pics below ), now the cool thing about this is that if theres someone interested in it, it can be stained to match your furniture as well as the sheen of the eurothean (sp). Please let me know if your interested in it. It can be completed in a few days. The reason I am selling this is because I am just too busy with work and my 180. Thanks

Selling it bascially for what I have into it. $600.00

OK also need to add that I will NEED a CASH deposit from the person interested in it BEFORE I even stain it, I do not want to get stuck with a stand and canopy color thats others might not want, I think thats only fair!!! I will need a $200 deposit for that. Thanks :D

Mike,

That is cheap. I sure wish I had the time, also. (-: I have a 120 I am trying to get set up.

The stand looks awesome.

Good luck,
Chris

Thanks Chris, yeah its alittle cheap, but I figured that theres someone out there that doesnt have a zillion dollars to spend for a fancy stand and canopy like this. Just trying to help give someone a good deal like I have recieved many of times from other fellow reefers on RC!! Hope this can help someone out. Its built REALLY well!!

UPDATE, I have recieved a deposit for this tank/ stand and canopy.

qckslvr76- Thanks. Please let me know as soon as you figure out the stain color!!!!

NP Mike...It was nice meeting you and the family. You have an awesome setup btw and of course a beautiful stand and canopy. The pics don't do it justice!! Anyway..just wanted to let you know I sent you an email for an update on my stain color. Talk to you later. Chris

Got the e mail, Yes it was nice meeting you and your friend. Also thanks for the compliments on the stand, I bought some more wood for the stand/canopy and when I get home from work today I will get to work, yesterday I also filled holes and stuff, so today I will get it going again. Thanks and Ill keep updating on this thread to what I got completed!!

Yeah I will be posting some of the progress here, not much cause Im slammed this week with work and my son went back to school!!

Yeah its pretty cool in some ways!! I just finished for the day of building the stand and canopy, I will post pics in a few mins!!

OK heres some pics of what I got completed this evening, the wood right under the ledge will be covered so dont worry about that!!! I just need to get some more trim for it tommorow. The right piller has been sanded but just the one time so far, there 2 more times I need to sand it with a 150 than 250 grit. Im going to go with the next size smaller crown moulding for the top of the canopy, cause if I put the same size on it as my 180, it would look weird I like to keep thing proportioned (sp)!!! If theres anything else I forgot to add I will update

Ohh Chris , do you want me to put a floor in it?? Or are ya worried about things fitting in there, IE skimmers and other things, not sure what ya putting in the sump....

Heres the pics.........

Hey Mike...It's lookin good man. Can tell how much clearance there is from the bottom of the floor to the bottom of the tank or top of the stand as it is now? This may help me get some ideas to what I have to work with. I would rather have a floor but if I don't have the clearance then I will have to do with out it...If anyone has any other suggestions feel free to comment! Anyway..it's lookin good so far and keep the pics comin! Chris

It's going on carpet. So, I would also say put a floor in it just in case I have some spills and thrills here and there. If you can put the floor as low as possible, of course this is depending on how much room you have to work with. Just do what you ever think will work best! :)
