I have a 58g Oceanic reef with a 20g L sump and an EV-150 skimmer.
The tank has been running for 2 years, but has been moved twice during that time.(short distances, less than 4 hours broken down each time) The most recent move was 5/14. No losses in any of the moves, parameters are looking great after over a month.
Current inhabitants
Fish:
Pair A. Ocellaris (moved from prior nano 4+years old!)
Inverts:
Pepermint Shrimp
Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
Emerald Mythrax Crab
Clean up Crew
Corals:
Misc. small SPS frags
Frogspawn, Zoanthids, Blastos
Fish List:
Flame Angel
Flasher Wrasse (McCoskers/Carpenters?)
Starry Blenny
undecided type of sand sifting goby (colorful alternative to the yellow diamond?)
Mandarin Dragonette (down the road)
Achilies Tang :dance: I'm kidding folks, relax, no whale sized tangs in this tank! I slap myself every time I start to think a Kole might fit...bad reefer, no Tang!
All fish will be QT for 4 weeks before going into the display (except the Dragonette). I won't be adding any fish within a month of the previous addition.
I know the Angel is a risk, but I'm hoping if he eats anything that it's zoanthids/softies. I don't plan on keeping clams and I rarely hear of them eating SPS. I haven't paid top dollar for any of my frags, so I just won't keep stuff it likes to eat!
So what do you guys think? 7 fish but all relatively small.
Anyone see obvious compatability issues?
How critical is the order in which these fish are added?
The Flame Angel was going to be my next addition...
