6 Leg Sallylightfoot Crab

While I was rearranging some rock in my tank, one fell and cut off 2 legs of a sallylightfoot crab. He seems to be ok, continues to scavenge, will he be ok? Will he grow 2 new legs? Is there anything I can do?

crabs regenerate there lost limbs over time so as long as there is no dmage to his body he should be fine.

keep an eye on him tho hopfully he will be ok....

As he molts he will heal and slowly regenrate those lost apendages.

I had two Sally Lightfoots get in a fight and one of them lost two legs. It grew them back in less than two weeks.
