6 line Wrasse gone!!

Recently got a small 6 line. Was maybe an inch. Have a tiger pistol shrimp and two clowns. Had the 6 line for about a week. Woke up yesterday Fane!! I no it didn't hop out tank top is completly secured. Moved my rocks around and nothing. Any ideas where it went? Could my pistol have gotten a hold of him?

Possible. Also do you have a CUC. Possible he just died and the CUC took care of the leftovers.

Sorry for your loss... I would not recommend getting another, as they can become aggressive especially towards new additions

Yeah a couple crabs and a peppermint. Strange I saw him about 11pm swimming around and by 10am the next day gone.

CUC can devour a fish in hours.

I had an angel that disappeared and never saw him again... I had a wrasse that disappeared and I found the bones the next day.

Most of these guys I lost through jumping. The slightest gap in the cover will do. So you may wanna have a closer look around the tank. I would also double check the overflow and where it leads to. Especially the tiny ones are good at hiding.
