hello,
just thought i would share my experience with a 6 line wrasse. i read the conflicting reviews on them, and decided to give it a try. it is a very beautiful fish!
i bought it a couple months ago. it got along well with the other inhabitants of my 29g until last week. last week it started to harass the firefish. nothing too bad, but still harassing.
the final straw was when i caught it nipping at my lps. i caught it biting my acans and scolys. they would open their mouths when it bit, and the 6 line would steal the food they had already swallowed
i saw it do it to 6 different lps last night! :hmm3: the worst part is it wasn't even eating the krill it stole! it seemed to just like to pester and steal the food! grrr....:furious:
so... i got a tip from some people on this forum and made a trap from a water bottle with the top inverted. took less than 12 hrs. i caught it this morning!:wavehand: goodbye 6 line....
so... i am done with 6 lines.
anyone want a free, very beautiful, but not so reef friendly 6 line? just come pic it up in the port st john area. pm me if interested....
