6 Line Wrasse - Needs New Home

NeedBiggerTank

Not Likely 2 Ever Grow Up
We have a Six Line Wrasse (aka Pajama Wrasse) that needs a new home. She isn't completely full grown yet - maybe 2.5" - 2.75" long. We've had her for 7 months or so. She came from the AC as a wee little thing...

To put it diplomatically, she's gotten a bit bossy. And the bigger she gets, the more territorial/stuborn/pugnacious she gets. She seems to feel the entire 90 gallon tank is hers and she shouldn't have to share it with anyone.

Assuming we can actually catch her, she is free to whomever has a more suitable home for her (of course, I have no idea if it is a "her" or a "him" by the way) - maybe a tank with huge fish? She is in excellent health, a voraciuos eater, and a beautiful fish. However, she won't sit still long enough for me to take a photo of her.

Any takers?

Last Chance for Wrasse!

Last Chance for Wrasse!

Our six line wrasse, "PJ" was captured today - there was a standing ovation by all remaining tankmates. PJ is is not happy about being put in the refugium, but she's only in there until we take her to the AC tommorrow (Sat.).

We should be at AC around 3:15 or so. Last chance for a free wrasse!

I would take the fish, but as we are one car down, I cannot get to AC tomorrow, and we are having a cookout that afternoon. If you feel like coming to winchester, Im sure I can pay you with a few ribs and chicken legs...

If not, no worries...

Go Figure, I just bought a Sixline Wrasse a couple of days ago from the AC! Flatworm Insurance LOL. If I had known I wouls have taken it, He would be the only fish in my frag tank so no issues there Hahahaha
Bill
Day late and a dollar short....

I was just thinking that bill. that and I would have spoken up myself had I seen this post. must have been a ghost post to sneak by both of us!

Bill - When I saw your post that you'd just bought one, I just figured you just didn't want my evil fish. :lmao:

Winchester may be a little far for us to travel tommorrow - and in the opposite direction of the Critter. Husband is SSsssoooo excited that we can finally get a new fish now - he can't wait another day. Sorry about that!

No worries Jennie. go trade that bad fish in for a good one. the folks there always like to get a good tank stable fish.
