I am looking into buying a system but I am a little confused.

What is the difference? Why is the 6 so much more expensive than the 4?

Sorry, but I am having trouble understanding.

Does anyone have a rough electrical one-line diagram of the their full system? I just dont understand how everything connects and works together.

Thank you!

Hiya

I can help you here

The 4 way power bar only has 4 sockets, but that is not the only limitation over the 6 socket version.

The six socket "digital" ower bar has the following features

Programmable.
Daisy chainable meaning all digital power bars work off one port on the back of the profilux this bieng S1S4 port "S" = Switchable
Dosing pumps can be programmed and daisy chained onto the power bar
200amp high in rush protected relays
surge protected.
Industrial strength switching relays

These are the things the 6 socket power bar has over the 4 socket.

In regards to how everything connects, imagine the profilux like the back of your PC tower, everything connects to the back and this is where all expansion goes, so unlike other controllers you are not left with a network of wires connected to external control boxes andthen more wires, so the ProfiLux is very tidy and intuitive.

Thanks that helps!

I just ordered the Profilux Plus II Beginner Pack, a 4 way power bar, and a dosing 3 unit for my new Elos System 70.

I still need tunze cables and a float senor, but im going to wait until I understand how everything fits together first.

Thanks again! I'm excited to be apart of the family. :)
