6" Yellow Belly Hippo FS $60

Looking to sell my yellow belly hippo tang, 6 years old(as long as I had him). He developed a taste for zoas so he needs to go.

thanks, my daughter doesn't want us to get rid of him/her but not sure what my options are. I feed heavy and all my fish are fat but i don't offer nori, wonder if that would help or once they taste zoas they crave it?

U can try nori but once they tast it they normally do t go away from it imo

They will give you store credit, then using that buy a smaller one, since they will not give you retail value for your fish.

how much different is this than a blue hippo? Will two in a tank fight? I have Purple tang and blue hippo. They "flash" but ok together. When I get my 300 gallon done, I am adding my tomingi tang to the mix. Is this too close to the blue hippo? Experience?

Its the same fish but comes from a different region so it has a yellow belly instead. I dont know how they would go together in a 300.

About 5 months ago josephv gave me a 7" blue hippo that was eating his zoas. The only tank I had at the moment was full of zoas but I wanted the fish so i took a chance and he has not touched a zoas since being in the tank. I dont know if it was because of the stress of moving to a new tank or what but he has been a model fish and eats like a pig. So maybe buying this fish and getting him into a new system would stop the zoa eating. Just a thought as it worked for me
