So I've been asked about my setup so I thought I'd post a few pictures of whats going on so far. The basics are : 60 gallon cube with approximately 30lbs sand, 50lbs of dry rock. Kassil 360WE. Sump consist of two tanks, a 40gallon and a 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank. The 40gallon has 50lbs of cured live rock and starting some chaeto and red mangrove seeds. The 100gallon tank has 30lbs of dry rock and the skimmer. I've got a BRS dual reactor and a BRS Biopellet reactor also. The Skimmer is a Nyos 160, which seems to be pulling some nice junk considering the tank has only been running for 3 weeks now. I have a Mag 1200 as my return pump, which is more than enough, I actually have it dialed back a little and still am turning over my DT more than I would like. I put two large shrimp in to start the cycle, but because of the cured rock I have yet to get a bump in any of my levels. The shrimp in the sump has made a great meal for all of the bristle worms that came in with the rock. I have pods all over the main tank already!!!.
