60 gallon cube suggestions

Hi all it has been 5 years since my last reef tank and I'm a reefaholic :wavehand:

So I ordered a marineland 24x24x24 cube with corner overflow and am looking for the right equipment.
My last tank was a mess it was supposed to be a softie 90 gallon and ended up with 500 watts of metal halides that overheated the tank I got too big a skimmer so tank was imbalanced.

thinking led lights for heat issues 3 foot sump, skimmer?/not too big, reef controller plus. please help me fill in the rest I'm in no rush and want a hassle free experience this time

I have the exact same tank and plan on softies as well. Heres what I'm rollin with.

1260 enhiem pump. I have this T'd off and flows back into a modded 16g Berlin sump and 10g tank. The 10g which I drilled gravity feeds into the Berlin.
AI Hydra led (think the hydra 52 may be too strong for softies)
1x jebao wp25 (may consider getting another) for flow
2x 200w cobalt heaters (probably overkill)
Bubble curve 5 skimmer
Tunze osmolater ATO

I'm still cycling but so far this is what I've got/planning.

Thank you for the reply. I was thinking the Ehiem was probably a good selection. I am still waiting on the tank to come in so I'm moving slow. was looking at a 25 gallon 18x18x18 sump and a sca-301 I believe the rest is still up in the air, probably going led no mh.

do you have a tank thread

I don't have a tank thread. I was out of the game for a while myself and one thing I've been reading about leds is most people run too high of settings and bleach their corals. Or they complain about dull colors. Seems like best thing to do is start low and slowly increase. I've read 30% may be enough for softies with the Hydra depending on placement. Start low for sure though. A good led light can bleach sps no problem.
