60 gallon cube

Hi, I have a 60 gallon cube (24x24x24) I've been reading alot about lighting and I'm still a little confused . I think I've decided on getting a lumenmax 3 with a 250W phenix 14k but i'm stll not sure what ballast to get , does it have to be an hqi ballast or could you get a galaxy. I read the electronic ballast use up hqi bulbs faster.

You need to read again. Electronic ballast will go easy on your bulb. HQI ballast will overdrive your bulb. I like to overdrive my bulb.
