In the last 2 months I've been quietly working on upgrading my 40g Breeder to a 60g tall. Instead of recording the entire build process, I decided to do one video explaining what I did.

Looks great overall, & I like the alloy tube light stand.

Out of curiosity what cabinet hinges did you use, i.e. waterproof ?

I don't know what brand of hinges they are, but they are coated in a thick white paint. If I have water issues where my hinges are then I have bigger issues than that. LOL

They don't need to get wet to rust.
 
Metal requires water and oxygen to rust. These are coated in white enamel to prevent that. I cant remember the brand name.

These are the supposed brass hinges I fitted to my cabinet in 2011

Never been wet, just in a saltwater environment.

Will use alloy hinges next time
