For Christmas I got a new tank, thanks Santa.It is a 24x24x24 60 cube reef ready.I am going to build my own stand and lid for it and stain it the same color as my other one.Sump will be custom to fit the 24x24 return pump is a Mag 5, lights will be LED I think.Here are some pics thanks Chris

Got a little work done.I put the main box together with top bracing,now that it's together I measured for my sump it is going to be 22''x22''x18''It will be split down the middle half sump for the skimmer and carbon and the other half refuge. Now some pics

Worked on the stand a little bit but messed up the doors so have to get more wood that sucks

Well yesterday went and got some more wood to fix my mess up hopefully that won't happen again it was 40 buck for two boards:furious:. Any way I got the front trim on and recut the doors and started on the top but here are a few pics

I didn't get a pic of the doors yet but more to come.

I'm hoping to get some work done on the stand this weekend we'll see what happens.Anyway this is the light I'm thinking on using has anybody used one and any pros and cons?

Got some more work done on my stand.Her it is with the doors

Here is the sides for the top

here is the blocks that the tank will be sitting on and the stand will be sitting on a set also.

the blocks and feet are going to be stained black.More to come

Got the lid almost done and the feet are stained and cleared so I should be able to put the bottom on soon.Going to try to pick up my sump this weekend it's done.

Well I had to router the top of the feet to put in a piece so I could mount them to the stand so one more delay and the top is almost done just need to get a hinge and inset a handle.My sump wasn't done yet so have to wait a little longer but that alright.Some pics

Got a lot of work done on Saturday put in the sound deaden er in the stand got most of the lid painted, for the paint I tried the appliance white epoxy paint the first coat looks pretty good.Bad news, good news bad is that the basement flooded what mess good news is I had everything up off the floor so nothing got rewind on the stand.Hopefully the floor will dry up completely so I can get back to it.

I seen this last night and I was like *** but I let it go thinking maybe it was a mistake and he would have pics up by this morning.
