Get the three lamp..only 10 bucks more....you can never have enough light!

OMG wow that extra lamp will take me to around 420W YAY!! FOR 200.00!!!! Im getting this unit for sure.

What would be the best combination of lamp colors?

Don't forget to factor in the cost of the bulbs.
You could go with two 10k daylight bulbs and one actinic....or 3 50/50 bulbs. Depends on what you like..this is for your softy tank right?

Yes sir! Softy only. No combination will give me the shimmer lines MH do to teh water correct??

I haev no clue, what will be the best for my softy+ RBTA tank.

Nope, you only get the shimmer lines when you have a point source of light like MH.
The only downside to the three lamp is that there is only one ballast...so it will fire all the lamps at the same time. You won't get the dusk dawn effect, if that's what your looking for.

Thats cool, Ill just make a DIY moonlight system I saw some things at Walmart I can make it out of.

go with one Coralife 10k, one URI Super Actinic R, and one URI Actinic/White... best look... unless you like the pink look of the URI Aquasun 10k
