OK what I thought was a done deal seems to not be a wise choice on my part. I chose to sell my monster of a tank instead of bringing it with me on my move to my new home. The new house has a lot of work to be done on it. Dealing with moving the tank too was going to make it an even bigger ordeal. I thought I found someone that was going to take care of my tank and not chop it. They seemed to really appreciate the deal I gave them. Unfortunately it's not working out. Even though they agreed on the deal a few weeks ago the tank is still here. I needed the tank out of here 2 weeks ago. I need this out of the house so I can prepare the home for sale. They missed the planned move time a couple times. Now I cant even get a straight answer from them when it will be gone. With no money in hand and still no solid move date from the buyer I need to move to plan B.
I am currently working with a couple aquarium movers to try and put a plan around moving it to the new house. There are some logistics around where I decided to put it but I think it will work nice where I am planning. I would still rather not take on this extra work so if anyone is interested in owning this reef it has become a tank of opportunity. For a short time anyway..
The 600 gallon starfire tank, maple hardwood stand, maple hardwood canopy.
All livestock, SPS, Inverts, Rock, Sand.
The only livestock not included is my 30+ year old clownfish.
None of the other equipment is included.
The first person to get this out of here can have it for $3000! The tank alone was over 5k. Start selling some coral off and your will wind up ahead. If I do not find someone this week with a plan to move it fast I will just keep it. I get this is expensive and not many are as crazy addicted as I am to SPS but this is turning into more of a headache than just moving it with me.
Here is the link to the original thread with the pictures video's etc.
