hello I have a 180 tank that is 72 inches long, I am don't know which model is enough for my tank, the 6000 or the 6100?. Thank you

Fernando

Thanks Dave, and if I wish to start keeping some soft and stony corals what would you recommend, the measures of my tank are 72L x 18W x 33H, I know is very tall and narrow, but it's what I have right now and wish to start with that. I have seen the wavebox in action and like the effect, do think it really makes a diference for the corals and fishes?

Thank you

Fernando

You could also do one 6100 and the wavebox. It would work very well because you can put the SPS near the 6100 and the softies far away.

Thanks Roger, which is the best way to position the 6100, on the oposite side of the wavemaker or on the same side.

In this case I would place it opposite the wavebox. This will make a shorter wave but the point is to have strong flow on one end and gentle flow on the other. It should be in the opposite corner aimed diagonally to the front corner near the wavebox.

I have a 125 rr with the corner overflows. I have a 6000 in the left corner on the inside of the overflow and the 6100 in the right corner. They produce so much current I have to turn them down 1/2 on the box and keep low on the multi controler. I have a tank that is mainly sps and zoanthids. I highly reccomend either one!
