Hi Roger,
For a 110 gal, 72" X 18" X 19", bare bottom, heavy SPS with about 800 GPH flowing back from the sump, would you recommend a pair of 6000's or 6100's, - w/ 7095? No upgrade in tank size in the foreseeable future.

Thanks

David

while i'm sure Roger will give a suggestion as well, i recently took my 180g down for a new stand and placed the 6100's into a 5' 100g tank temporarily, the flow in the system is wonderful with them on opposite ends pointed at each other and set to sequential mode (one is on all the time the other comes on for about 2 min every 10 min) when both are on there is absolutely no detris in the tank collecting anywhere, the corals love the flow as well. if you find the 6100's a bit much you can always dial them back with the controller (or on the driver if you don't use the controller) but i don't think you'll need to.

Thanks kc, I have the 6000's and am contemplating upgrading to the 6100's.

YEP.

Interesting - on Premium Aquatics, the price of a 6000 is $240.70
The 7410.602 6100 transformers is $66.96 for a total of $307.66

The 6100 is $308.27.

So purchasing a 6000 and transformer is a wee bit cheaper than a 6100, and I have the 6000 transformer as a back-up.
