6000 stream in a 70 gal?

would a 6000 stream in a 70 gal 3 in. sand bed, 150# rock. few fish and few mushrooms for now be a little overkill or should i just keep the power output low? i really cant wait to see if i can even get a hold of a nano let alone wait 2 months.

One of them should be OK, you can reduce the flow to about 700gph if necessary.

I take it the tanks 48'' long? If you're not going to keeping many more corals or getting into LPS or SPS corals than just get a 6060. The 6000 and a 6045 would be a good amount of flow for a simple soft coral reef. How much is your return giving off? ( if you have one )

roughly 600 and yes its 48" and i also do plan on adding a great deal more corals mostly LPS, maybe a few SPS for style purposes

I like the 6000 because you can adjust it if necessary, the 6060 doesn't offer that.
