6000's and Surface Agitation

I am currently running 2 6000's with the 7095 controller, I have either the tunze magnets and the sure grip magnets if needed, and the 6100 and 6200 shrouds.

knowing that, I get great flow in the tank but nothing for Surface Agitation except for my return line. however I run my return slow for more contact time in the sump/fuge so it is still very low Surface Agitation. when I have the pumps running they seem to point a straight accross and a lil downward, is there a way to place these to get decent Surface Agitation using these pumps? I am hoping to upgrade to the 6095's in a few months for directional flow but till then I am stuch with the 6000's.

TIA

If you angle the mounting magnet slightly, the left right adjustment will allow a slight upward adjustment.

that worked like a charm thanks.

now my next question is, i am looking for the screw that holds the pump tighter to the magnet or part #6080.230 the teeth parts are kinda worn down so the pumps turn kinda easy.

Thanks

One option would be to simply put a cable tie through the eye of the holder clamp and pull it tight. The model with the screw is the later 6200.230, it is threaded to accept an 8mm screw which is included. You could upgrade to this later part.
