600g FOWLR

love this little girl from DD, she inhales LRF

Another fav. also inhales Larrys reef frenzy

Might regret taking some teeth out, but I feel it skimms better this way.

55 gallon barrel full of cured lr, waiting on dry rock to arrive.

If only they knew what was only a few feet away they'd probably make the jump

still need return pump/skimmer sump

Will go through 2-7x16 200 micron socks then flow to back fuge then flow to skimmer sump.

Some sad news, my Venustus that reached 9 weeks in qt is laying on its side. Probably going to be the last one I try. was not shy and was a sweet fish. Hope she comes around.

That sucks! Did you get the fish locally (I only ask since I'm in MN as well)?

Thats a bummer man, I hope it comes through for you. Any ideas what's wrong?

I've got a tiny Venustus in Quarantine right now (3 days), I really hope she makes it.

Any idea what you are going to do about lighting. I'm trying to figure out my lights on a 240, I want something that is dimmable and LED and looks decent exposed, but I don't want to spend 1000 bucks.

Hope your fish pulls through.

Marshall island Multibar angle from DD. Tried 3 over the years from the Philippines but they ship poorly and don't eat. This guy is rockin so far. Hope to get her a mate.

For now just Marineland leds

Are the marina s LEDs able to be dimmed? I have no intentions of growing coral, but I'm thinking about picking up some used AI Sols, there seem to be an abundance of them on the market.

My wife is very anti-canopy, so I am going to build a small wooden box for my lighting, whatever it turns out to be. Every time I look at the DIY stuff it seems its just as expensive as the used Sols.

I'm still deciding if you can't tell.

Their no able to be dimmed, I've actually been looking at the TaoTronics 120w dimmable led's. My friend runs the 210 watts wich are not dimmed on his reef and coral look good. Amazon sells the lights and reasonably priced. Still gonna wait though. When it comes to lighting I'm pretty stingy and behind the advances.

Haha when I went to order my tank from Rich at aqua art aquariums I totally saw him working on that tank. He had me help him carry the tank and stand from his storage to his work shop so he could work on it. It was HEAVY. Small world
