600g FOWLR

I ordered a standard 75 gallon. Sooo basically 1/30 of your mega monster lol. Its my first reef tank and am pretty stoked!! :)

BTW Chris, Rich's new business partner, is doing more live stock and corals now. They don't keep them in stock but will order in anything. My fish were at least 1/2 the cost of online vendors. I have Chris's phone number if you need it. Looking forward to following your progress.

I dealt with Chris Teem personally with this tank, I'm set with fish and coral access through our family pet store. Good luck with your tank! Look forward to seeing your tank progress as well.

Wow. The tank really made the long haul. Too bad youre not closer. I would love to see it in person all set up.

As in just one? I thought you had to keep them in groups? We got two in a week ago. One of them is eating very well, I'd consider it if they can be kept alone...

Besy kept single unless in a very large system (1000g) NLS pellets go a long way with idols, mine keeps getting its long fin chopped off in the circulation pump. Had him since a 2 incher.

Tank is just about 3/4 full of ro water. Tempted to order a couple hundred gallons so i can fill it already.I will be running carbon for a few days just in case any chemicals were used I'm un aware of.

that is what I did to fill it initially...

Mrscribbled,
Given your tanks unique dimensions have you thought about aquascaping ideas? You have the same depth to your aquarium as Steve Weast. Have you considered doing a canyon feature such as his aquarium?

I'm not familiar with Steve's tank but will try and find it. As for my plan all I have is a few visual images. Giving the rock I have now I may be limited until large pieces arrive. For now I'll be doing center piles to provide great swimming and hiding places for the fish. This will be a bb tank and am also leaning toward leaving all side panels exposed for easy cleaning. Tomorrow night I plan on adding rock and seeing were it goes.

Cant wait to see how it turns out. Here is a pic of Steve's tank.

So part of the aggreement with the Mrs. Was that I had to cut back on tanks so I could get this one. One of the tanks I tore down had my golden tail moray eel. I still have him in one of my storage tanks. I'd like to keep him, he is a foot long. I'm tempted to keep him in the big tank, any thoughts on this?
