600gal . the plaining process .

Yeah.. 2 or 4 bulbs would probably work best. Doesn't matter what amp the ballasts are, except on the electric bill.;) Radiums are the only bulbs I run now. Great look and packs a punch. Yeah.. I'd wanna keep it down to two pumps as well. Maybe just steal a little from each pump to feed the tank. Or 1 pump is for skimmer and 1 surge and the other is for tank and 1 surge. I don't know.. There's a million options.

I got the tank off the stand tonight and a crew set up for tomorrow. If everyone is able to show and we get it out of my basement, Tuesday pick up is looking very realistic.

Talk to ya soon.

how do these surge tanks work? have a good info link, sorry back to the tank!

its for sale but not for sale .... lol . honestly i do not know when i will be able to get to it , alot of things came up in the past few months that are not letting me get to it im still reading , plaining etc . but like all things in my shop if it isnt apart of the building its for sale . so i kinda kicked around the idea of selling it . but way to many low ballers so i still have it . but if someone came to me with the money then i would part with it .

that being said ..... i just bought 6 light pendants and 1 hammer head the other week . so im closing in on the parts needed .

but i still dont know when ill get to it so if someone wants a big tank id part with it ......man i think im worse than a woman . {no offense ladys}

Well, it looks like I'm going to 'pick up the tank and run with it' so to speak. Maybe I'll keep this thread alive too. I'm selling my 375 and buying this 600 beast and turning my garage into a tank room.

I'll be posting a ton of questions for help with ideas soon. :cool:
