6025 Bracket Issue

The power went out yesterday for a few seconds. I checked my tank to make sure everything was running fine and noticed both of the power heads were hanging by their cords. The bracket had san arm missing of the one while the other powerhead arm were so soft they wont hold. The powerheads are about 10 months old. Any thoughts? Is this a design flaw? Thanks for your help.
