Any word on when a new design will be out. I have two and they have both broken again for the 3rd time now. I am now getting a little frustrated with it. If it will be coming soon then I will just zip tie it on and wait...but if its going to be a while I will just want to get them replaced and try to sell them.

there is no ETA yet that I have heard. I know Roger has said it is one of the things he is going to spending time on while in Germany. I wouldnt expect a change real soon as I am sure once the design is settled on, working its way to finished product and full production will take a bit of time
We settled on a design that will use a large rounded clip that plugs into the holes on the magnet in addition to the four tabs which will be widened. It will be a few months before the mold can be changed to this extent as some aesthetic issues are still unresolved but the basics of how it will work and be made are settled. For now the mold will be changed so the tabs are twice as thick near the base. We expect this will reduce the incidence of breakage by about 50% These clips should be available in a month.
