6025 post drive unit slides onto broke

Hello,
I have a 6025 nanostream that has worked flawlessly for the first couple years I've had it, but last night it started making a ton of noise. On closer inspection the steel post that the drive unit slides onto broke right at the base. The washer now is free to move around on it's own and the drive unit rattles violently.

What is the process/cost to have this repaired?

Thanks,
Ryan

The only repair is to replace the motor as the shaft is a part of the motor, what you describe would be a motor from Nov 2006-July 2007 as we switched to a much harder metal and eliminated the metal washer and beefed up the plastics at that point. I would send the pump in, I generally prefer to replace the entire pump and we discount that to $45, the motor alone is $31.45 and every other part of the pump has changed as well so it is best to just replace everything with new.
