6025 Problem

I have had this hooked up to my battery back up (UPS) and ran 27/7- 365

the shaft looks to have rusted and broke

how do I tell if under warrany or just going in the trash?

The 6025 has been available for 22 months now so they are all still under warranty, send it in and it will be replaced.
