6025 starts backwards frequently

I put a 6025 on my tank last week and I'm having an issue with it running backwards when it starts. Probably 5 or 6 times out of 10 it will run the wrong way when it starts, and it doesn't correct itself. Also it's a bit loud, much more so than the Koralia on the other side of the tank.

If the pump is brand new likely the cause is the small amount of vaseline on the stainless steel shaft has gummed it up, just take the drive unit out, be careful not to lose the stainless steel shaft and wipe off what you can. If it is an older unit, likely the disk is worn down so the spacing is off, you need a new disk.

It's a new pump, I'll give that a try.
