6025 with rusted shaft

I have a older 6025 and the shaft is getting pretty rusted. It actually made the impeller rust colored also. is there a way to switch out the shaft with the newer one?

Hi Roger. I have the same problem. I have a 6025 with a rusty shaft. The shaft slips out of the housing easily and gets stuck in the impellor. I have another 6025 that will not start or just goes backwards. Please help.
