6045 -125g?

Will a few 6045s work OK in a 6' 125g? The 6101s are too expensive for my budget.

I would do 4-6 of the modded 6025's.

What do you plan to keep? I think the best choice if you are on a budget would be a couple of the closeout 6000's or a pair of 6060's

What I am using now is a koralia 4 (1200gph) and a seio 620 with a 1200 gph return pump, so 2 6045s would have to be better, wouldn't they? Same flow as the koralia, takes up less space, and then twice the flow as the seio if I replaced the two. I would like something so that my corals don't grow all in one direction such as my birdsnest grows all to the left and doesn't look natural, but the controllable pumps are real expensive.

The 6045 is slightly more flow than a Korallia 4. The flow covers an area of roughly 4ft by 18" but only 3ft really get a fairly strong current. You know we have some 6000's on closeout, these are a discontinued model that is controllable. If I were you rather than buy 2 6045 I would buy 1 6000 and use it in conjunction with what you have until you can afford another. I think this is a beter solution and you will be happier in the long run.
