6045 Help Me

Hey ive got a 6045- It too will not stay together and the holder also broke, I got it from Chris at Ultimate Aquariums, And he has closed can you help me, it is about 6-7Mnths old- Thanks Chad

i got my replacement holders from marine depot for $8. get extras they break real easily. have mine for about a year, i'm on my second replacement holder. decent pump crappy holder.

The holders have been redesigned using new plastic and slightly different tabs a few months ago which solved the breakage problems with the first version. They are covered under warranty and would contact Roger (rvitko) on this forum via pm or email for replacement. You can also contact him using the sbcglobal email address on the tunze US site

As for the cage not holding, if you got a version with a round cord soon after the change from the flat the cage it might be not locking tightly as for a while the cages were hand dremeled out to accomodate the thicker cord and at times were not quite far enough
