6045 on 3/4" acrylic

will these work on 3/4" acrylic? i am looking for a pump to mount to the top of my tank and these pumps are perfect except i dont know if they will work on that thick of acrylic...

Acrylic should be less dense than glass, so I would assume it would work. They do work on 3/4" glass.
