Roger,
I'm in process of designing a new 150 gal, 54"Lx30"Wx24"H reef. I'm not sure how far yet I'll eventually go with corals needing more extreme flow in a mixed reef, but am attempting to design this to keep my options open without blowing the budget completely.
My current thought is to install a 6208 Wavebox near the rear right corner of the tank, pointed across the back. ...and then install a 6105 on both the left and right sides to help flow around the 125lbs or so of rock work. The placement would be similar to the 4th picture down you your website HERE. I'll be running everything off my APEX.
Would you suggest this is a good starting point, or should I upsize the Wavebox, or maybe go with 6055's or 6095's instead of the larger 6105s? I figure I can always add a third head if I need to, but don't want to be initially disappointed with my first Tunze purchase -- or feel like I completely overdid it flow-wise buying too much and always keeping the heads running at a very low % of what they are capable of. I appreciate your advice.
