6055 --> 7095 issue

I have a trio of 6055's plugged into a 7095. The controller recognizes, and controls, two of the pumps but the third is not affected. When power is connected, it operates at full speed. I tried connecting it to a different channel but it does the same thing. And I did connect all 6055's to the multi controller FIRST, before connecting any power supplies to the pumps. Is there a way I can trouble shoot this further, or possibly fix, myself?... or do I need to send it in to you?

when you tried another channel did you try a different cable as well? Also when you said a different channel if it was on say channel 3 or 4 did you try it on 1 or 2?

When I swapped channels, yes I did jump from 1/2 to 3/4. However, I did
not try a different cable but I did have an extra one lying around, so...
I just swapped it out and the 7095 is now controlling the third 6055. Wow, I would not have guessed this to be the problem!? What is the explanation? Is it a bad cable or something?

Btw, this is why RC dwarfs any other reef site. Reliable, and quick, troubleshooting tips for my problem with a solution in less than 24 hours. Thanks!!

Yes, the cable is bad, there are five thin wires inside and if they are stretched or bent hard a wire can break.
