6055 won't start

Happy Holidays everyone! I have two 6055 nanos running on a 7095 multicontroller. Everytime I press the feed timer one of the nano doesn't come back on. I would have to play around with the drive unit and impeller (sliding it in and out) to get it spinning. Would anybody know what's wrong? I'm hoping it's something I could fix at home. TIA.

How old is the 6055? I would check that the stainless steel disk is in place on the shaft and didn't come free in the pump where it could jam between the drive unit and pump walls. I would also clean up any calcium build up. This may also be related to what program you are using on the 7095.

Hi Roger, you're right, I didn't see any disc on the steel shaft. I guess it must have fallen off when I cleaned the pump a week ago. Where could I order this part. Thanks.

Roger, I just purchase 2 6055 and a 7095 controller. What exactly is the program that won't work with the 6055's?

They will all work but Interval 1 will result in a clicking noise everytime the pump turns off and on. This was solved recently though so if the pumps are from the latest shipment it should be fine and I will get replacement drive units early next week that will solve this issue for anyone who has it.

I also have just purchased 2 6055 and a 7095 controller and both units make a clicking noise on interval 1. where can Iget new propellers and the little washer inside these units

Failing 6025

Failing 6025

Hi,

I've been having similar problems with my 6025 for the past couple months, and finally removed it from my tank. It makes a whirring noise, but the impeller just won't spin. I was about to purchase a new one and my fish store said I should write to Tunze on this forum for advice before dropping the cash for a new one.

Suggestions?
