question about this unit in feed mode w single controller, is it supposed to pulse, seems hard on unit. what is the best placement in a 75g bb set up w cornor overflow.

one tunze 6045 behind rock blowing to rt. 2 tunze lt side going rt.

Hello, the controllable tunze stream on feed mode will pulse every 10 sec and that is the fish safe mode to prevent your fish from sticking it head inside the pump to gazed at algae then get their head cut off when the pump turned on. That is very normal and it will not do any harm to the pump.

As for the placement of the pump as long as you don't notice any dead spot you should be good to go. I always suggest to have one at each rear corner facing 45 degrees toward the front panel.

It should turn one rotation every 20 seconds, it won't harm the unit and the time does vary a bit from about 10-30 seconds.
