6060 just can't find idea spot in 75G

I give up. After about 3 hours I think I've discovered the 6060 output is too much for a 75G. Maybe if I was starting a tank and could build based on the 6060 but at this stage I'd have to say too much power.

It was either kicking up all my sand or blowing corals across the tank.


Dam I liked that unit.

trade it in for a 6000 and the controller it works fine.

Place it on one end of the aquarium blowing across. It really shouldn't be too much flow. To help with the sand give a slight upward angle to the pump by designing a spacer out of nylon screws or PVC. Overtime everything will adjust to the flow and the sand will compact with biofilm.
