6060 on timer for off at night ?

can i put the 6060 on a timer to shut them off at night them back on in the morning about 6 hour s of, off time in there ,,i know i can not use them to go on and off in short periods ,,

This is OK for the pump, just be aware when it is off fish or snails or hermits may get inside and be killed when the pump starts or break the propeller.
