6060 trouble

I just got home and when I got into the door I heard a really loud humming tpye noise. Any ideas? I upluged it and pluged it back in and it stopped. It wasnt the normal humming noise. It was 20times as loud and could be heard downstairs.

Maybe something got in the pump? I would open it up and check everything out.

I didn't see anything when I looked at it. Theres not any fish since the tank is cycling so nothing is really in there moving around. Flow pattern has been the same.

Did you take the prop assembly out to check that?

Nope, but I'll try it.

cleaned it twice and doing the same thing. When it makes this noise, there's no flow either. Somethings wrong with the impeller. It's only been took out to be cleaned and it's worked fine since I got it. I've got a video that has the noise it makes in it if you want the link.
