6065 Stream blade failure

Hello,

I have 2 6065 Turbelle Streams which are both less than 6 months old. Both have a problem with starting in reverse. I have cleaned both of them recently, and both are missing the tips of the blades which I think are part of their anti-reverse feature. What should I do? I don't want a pump which has to be turned off and on until it flows forward.

PM me your address and I will send new blades. Be sure that you are not cycling them off and on more rapidly than once every 15 minutes, rapid cycling will cause this problem to occur in a very short time.

I'm turning the pumps off for about 10 minutes at a time, twice a day while I feed my fish, by turning off the powerstrip they are plugged in to. Is there a better (less wear on the pump) technique for shutting down at feeding time?
