6080 running backwards

hello i have a tunze 6080 that sometimes it will start backwards when i shut it off whats up with it? thanks

Usual cause is it was shut off more than the recommended once per hour and the brake shoes are worn/broken. Other cause I have seen is loosing the small oring under the upper bearing.

I can email you a manual if you provide an email address. The complete assembly is part 6080.60, MD has them, I have them you can order them on Tunze.com. The assembly runs $29.26. You might double check though, what I usually see is if it wasn't run on a wavemaker which is a big no, no is that the red oring was lost when cleaning the pump. If it was just an individual part we do have them seperately.
