6085 has problem starting and running

I purchases a 6085 about 4 months ago from a LFS. When powerhead is submerged, it won't start. Makes a clicking noise. I have to take the powerhead out of water, let the impellar start spinning, then submerge the powerhead in order for it to work. Even then it stops working after a short period of time. The anti reverse tabs and impellar are both in good condition, no breakage. Even soaked the powerhead in vinegar and water, with no positive results. Powerhead should still be under warranty, what should I do?

Got parts in mail yesterday. Installed and powerhead works like new again. I have got to ask though. Is this a known issue with he newer tunzes? I have never taken this powerhead apart prior to having this problem. I've only done a periodic vinegar bath as i do the rest of my pumps. One tab was broken on the nose cone and the impellar very gently worn. Honestly, I could not see why it stopped working in the first place but, it did. do i need to keep a spare impellar and nose cone on hand waiting for this to happen again?

On the first Stream 2's the plastic of the propeller housing stop was thinner, it could be that it was an older pump. Right now we use a propeller that is made for model boats and we modify it for our pumps. It is a plastic reinforced with carbon fiber. Sometimes the carbon fiber forms pockets where there is very little plastic making a fracture point but it is not that common, we are looking into a different propeller that would be more flexible.
