Hi, i was reading through the manual and seen where you can set it to control alternately a 2nd box. my question is, is there any advantage to changing the setting in the controller to this "ALTERNATIVE CONTROL". would you get a bigger wave as oppose to standard setting.

This setting is used on very long tanks, with one wavebox on each side, a tank that is over 10ft or 3M. Otherwise, for wider tanks the synchronous setting is better, for tanks over 1M or 3ft in width.

my tank is an odd shape,

back glass 3'
front glass 5'
front to back 3'

so if i have 2 wave boxes then i should use the standard setting to get the max wave and both boxes be side by side?????
