6091 issue

First I'll caveat by saying this is a wavebox that is around 7 years old so it's been darn reliable. I have come up with an issue recently though. For some reason randomly the 6091 will rapidly flash to the other side just for a split second. This throws off the wave and it has to reestablish. Sometimes it goes a couple minutes fine and other times it only goes a few seconds before this "flash" occurs throwing the wave rythem off. Any ideas or suggestions. I have cleaned the pump and everything seems fine with it.

I would lean toward a pump issue unless the controller has some damage from water, humidity or salt creep. It could be as simple as the drive unit hanging up, if it is the original drive unit, a new one might solve the problem. It could also be that the pump is starting to fail.
