6095 covers on a 6055

Will the 6095 covers go on a 6055 pump? I have a 60 gallon cube and want a little bit wider flow so it's not so concentrated.

Yes, they will fit and the flow will be widened.

No such thing, it comes with the 6205.130 wide flow housing.

Will a 6155 fit on a 6105?

Yes, part 6305.130, however, it is not a good investment, the output diameter is the same as 6205.130 (the wide flow housing included with a new 6105). It has more intake area however that is inconsequential as a 6105 is not starved for intake flow and the difference is negligible, we measured only about a 50gph increase.

Hi Roger, Just to confirm, 6095.130 is the part# of the 6095 cover that fits the 6055? Also, I'm running (3) 6055 via a 7096 varying 40-65% power on my 90RR. Any detrimental affects of running the 6095 cover on the 6055(shorten pump life,etc,etc)

The only risks would be that without the grid 6080.200 as well, there is more likelihood of something entering the pump. The flow also has a shorter reach.
