6095 in a 2x2 cube

I just got a 6095 and want to operate it as a wavemaker. How should I set my 7096 to accomplish this? Also, can I adjust the strength of the pump as a wavemaker?

If you want to generate an actual wave you would plug it into the 3rd or 4th socket and turn on wavemode and then use the auto tune feature to find the frequency. You would adjust wave height by changing the voltage on the power supply. Lower voltage = smaller wave.

Directional flow is more important than wave flow, you really should make sure there is a good directional current and add wave flow to that. A wave is directionless, a lifting ans suspending motion, if you have ever been to a big lake or the ocean and you kick up some coarse sand, the waves just wash it back and forth until it falls in roughly the same spot you kicked it up, a directional current is needed to actually transport debris to the filters.
