6095

Hi Roger, would 2x6095 be ok for a 60"x21"x20"mixed reef,I had this set up on a 4 ft tank and it worked pretty well.

This is a marginal area of tank size where the 6095's are a little underpowered and 6105's are a little overpowered. A lot will depend on placement and corals, if the mixture is more heavily polyps, mushrooms, soft corals and LPS it will be fine, any substantial amount of SPS will need more flow but a few colonies could be maintained close to the pumps. If you have the 6095's you could just add a third pump as needed. If I was starting from scratch I would do the 6105's or 6150's and turn them down as needed unless my focus was lower flow animals without any significant SPS colonies.

It could work, but between 1 6105 and 2 6095, I would choose 2 6095, 1 6095 and 1 6105 could work too. I generally don't like 1 pump solutions as all your eggs are in one basket, pump goes down and it is a catastrophe, that and it is always best to be able to change flow direction periodically or you end up with a pile of debris on the far side.
